Holmes PTA Launches “Unfundraiser” to Support Year-End Student Events
The Holmes Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is calling on the community to support its unique “Unfundraiser” campaign. Designed to eliminate the need for traditional fundraising events, the campaign focuses solely on collecting donations to fund special year-end activities for students.
The PTA hopes to raise $12,000 to provide memorable experiences for Holmes students, including:
- 7th & 8th Grade “Day on the Green”: A fun-filled campus party featuring an inflatable obstacle course, slides, and the Kona Ice truck.
- 9th Grade Marin County Day Hike: A cherished Holmes tradition, this day-long off-site hike celebrates 9th graders as they prepare to graduate from junior high.
“These events create lasting memories for our students and wouldn’t be possible without the support of our families and community,” said a PTA representative.
Donors are encouraged to check with their employers for donation-matching opportunities to maximize their contributions. Every donation, big or small, helps ensure these events can take place.
