Students, see below for information about some of Holmes' past clubs.  Clubs for the 2021-2022 school year will be updated soon!

To Get to the Club Page in the Patriot Portal:

  1. Log in to Canvas
  2. Go to the Patriot Portal home page (from your Dashboard)
  3. Click on the "School News" button
  4. Click on the "Clubs" button
  5. Read all about our 2020-21 Clubs and use the Club Sign Up Google Forms to sign up for clubs
Among Us Club
Play Among Us while talking to each other and having fun. Email Mrs. Diaz, jmdiaz@djusd.net with any questions.

Among Us Club meets on Tuesdays at 3:30pm on Zoom.
Art Club
This is a social club centered around art and design; paintings, drawings, sculpture, comics, video games, animation, character design, photography, digital art, etc. Share art you made or art you like in our Discord server and chat with us on Zoom. Contact Ms. Hohmann at shohmann@djusd.net with any questions and I hope to see you there!

ASL (American Sign Language) Club
ASL Club's purpose is to teach and learn American Sign Language (vocabulary, grammar, and conversational skills) and to provide a space to practice signing with others and to have fun!  Email Mr. Moody, emoody@djusd.net with any questions.

ASL Club meets on Tuesdays from 1:45-2:30pm on Zoom.
Dungeons and Dragons
The purpose of the Dungeons and Dragons Club is to gather together groups of people to learn and play Dungeons & Dragons at school. Email Mr. Nush, dnush@djusd.netwith any questions.

Dungeons and Dragons meets on Thursdays at lunch on Zoom.
Girl's Outdoor Adventure Club
Mission: This club exists for girls to gain access to wilderness. The club will bring awareness of our relationship to our environment. This club also aims to help girls build confidence through leadership, learn survival skills, and create new friendships.  Email Mrs. Schneider, cschneider@djusd.net and Mrs. De Bow, adebow@djusd.net with any questions.

GSA is a safe space for everyone, it is more specifically for people in the LGBTQ+ community but all are welcome! Email Mrs. Mowry, lmowry@djusd.netwith any questions.

GSA Club meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month during Advisory (from 10:35-11:05) on Zoom.  Quarter 2 dates will be announced soon.
Math Counts
Math club for 7th and 8th graders. Math counts believes middle school is a critical juncture when a love of math must be encouraged, and a fear of math must be overcome. The program builds problem solving skills and positive attitudes about math, so students embrace challenges and expand their academic and career opportunities in the future. Needlework Club
Come join us to chat and socialize while doing any form of needlework - knitting, crocheting, embroidery, whatever! Email Mrs. Shields, eshields@djusd.net with any questions.

Meeting day and time will be determined by group once established.

Newspaper club
The purpose of Newspaper club is to make a monthly newspaper for the school, to inform students about what is happening in the world and on campus.

Online Games Club
Join Online Games to play games online with other Holmes students. We aim to build community at Holmes through online games.  Email Mrs. Sarette, msarette@djusd.net with any questions.

Science Olympiad Club
Join Science Olympiad Club to learn about different areas of science.  We also compete in Science Olympiad competitions.  Check out the Science Olympiad flier for more information.

Science Olympiad Club meets on Mondays from 1:45-2:30pm on Zoom.
Speech & Debate Club
The purpose of Speech & Debate Club is to train kids in the fundamentals of competitive speech and debate.
